FEB 2025: Fighter of the month Gabe Hutchings

Our fighter of the month for February is the wonderfully eccentric, delightfully wild, and truly remarkable Gabe Hutchings. Over the course of time, Gabe has acquired so many nicknames that, at this point, we have entirely lost count; from the notorious "Piss Goblin" to the affable "Milk Man," one thing remains consistent: Gabe is an exceptional fighter, and even more importantly, he is an even better friend to those around him. Gabe first started his journey in armored combat in 2022 with the Twin City Wyverns.

He fought alongside several of our early fighters during Nashville Armored Combat's grand opening event, and then continued to showcase his skills alongside his team at the very first armored combat tournament held at the Arnold Expo in Columbus, Ohio, where he took home 1st place in melees together with the Wyverns team.

Gabe also competed in several events in Omaha and once again excelled at the 2023 Arnold Expo tournament, again bringing home gold alongside the Wyverns. Following the 2023 Arnold Expo, Gabe moved to Cincinnati, where he began training with us. He quickly secured his spot on our team as a rail fighter and has participated in every single event that the Cincinnati Barbarians have taken part in since then.

His most recent competition was Carolina Carnage 2025, which took place this past weekend; during this event, the Barbarians advanced to day two for the thrilling 5v5 matches and successfully held our own in the challenging 12 vs 12 event. Throughout his journey, Gabe has undeniably won over the hearts and minds of fighters from all corners of the country. With his incredibly positive attitude and his loudly proclaimed love for the sport, he is undoubtedly a true joy to be around, inspiring everyone he meets.
