OCTOBER 2024: Fighter of the Month

Our October fighter of the month is Jay Bishop

Jay Bishop came to the Cincinnati Barbarians with a strong background in wrestling and a love for competition. Jay fights on the melee competition team and competes in pro fights. Jay constantly strives to learn new fighting techniques.  

Jay has been with us since 2022. He has fought at many competitions and exhibition matches in his two year career. Jay is currently one of our melee trainers and is a teacher for our new Barbarian classes. Jay is just getting started and is sure to make a name for himself!

Outside the list Jay is a father of two, a friend to all and a great teammate. If you come to one of our events you will see Jays 2 children running around and helping out.

The Cincinnati Barbarians operate like a family. We watch out for each other's children and we help our team mates every chance we can. Jay is a great example of how a team becomes a family.

We are happy to have him and recommend to anyone who hasn't had the chance to meet (or fight) him. To come say hi next time you see him and maybe you two can grab a beer.
